Thermal Testing
General:
K+ test facilities are visibly clean; however, they are not classified as cleanrooms.
K+ test engineers manage setup, operation, and shutdown of K+ test equipment. The customer is responsible for operations of their unit under test (UUT).
Daily rate assumes 8 hour days and applies to setup, test, and teardown operations.
Operations:
Overnight use of the chamber is possible, but will be unsupervised outside of business hours and will require coordination with the K+ team. Redundant temperature sensor alarms and power cutoffs are in-place to prevent overtest.
Test data will be delivered within 48 hours of test completion.
Technical specifications:
Tenney T64RC with VersaTenn III controller
Chamber certified by Tenney Thermal Product Solutions (TPS)
Internal dimensions: 1,190 x 1,190 mm base, 1,190 mm height
Temperature range: -70 ºC up to 200 ºC
Average ramp rates
Ramp up (25 ºC to 200 ºC): ~3.5 ºC/min
Ramp down (25 ºC to -65 ºC): ~1.5 ºC/min
Average full cycle time (25º C > 200º C > -65º C > 25 ºC): ~4.5 hours
Three accessory ports on the side of the chamber are available for UUT monitoring and control cabling. After cables are routed, the ports are sealed with malleable plugs.
Limitations:
No humidity control, ambient air only. Standard hot cycle to reduce ambient moisture in the chamber.
